This listing is for 1 (one) cull Indian head penny. A "Cull" coin, is any coin with flaws or in generally poor condition. These coins can still have clear detail and very readable dates, but have enough defects to be considered cull. Some could also have great dates (I don't know because I do not search through them). Some of the dates are also covered up by gunk or corrosion which could be removed if cleaned. I do not clean any coins as it can further devalue the coin.

The Indian Head cent, also known as an Indian Head penny, was a one-cent coin ($0.01) produced by the United States Bureau of the Mint from 1859 to 1909. It was designed by James Barton Longacre, the Chief Engraver at the Philadelphia Mint.

The centenary of the birth of assassinated president Abraham Lincoln would occur in February 1909, and large numbers of privately manufactured souvenirs were already being issued. Many citizens had written to the Treasury Department, proposing a Lincoln coin.

For a collector, this is an excellent addition for US cents or coins in general.
