On the back, inscribed in Spanish is "Besado Por La Stma Virgen Garabandal" meaning kissed by the blessed virgin of Garabandal. The story of Our Lady of Garabandal is from 1961-65, in Spain, where an apparition of the archangel Michael would appear to 4 young girls who would tell them the next Sunday the Blessed Mary would appear to them. That Sunday, surrounded by onlookers, the girls would approach the same alleyway where they encountered the apparition, to find Mary accompanied by two angels. The message given to the crowd was kept to a singular girl who would tell the Pope of the holy message. The message is supposed to be a warning for all to amend their souls.
